Community United Methodist Church

"Growing in Christ,

Loving like Christ, and

Serving with Christ!"

Our Worship team designs our services in the hope that each person

experiences the presence and power of God's love through

music, prayer, scripture, message and drama.

Worship is not about us but a time to honor, praise and glorify God.

During this time of COVID-19 we are offering a worship service by live-stream each Sunday at 9:00 a.m.  You can click here to be directed to our Online Worship site, or join us on Facebook.

Traditional Service ~ 9:00 a.m.

Fellowship Time ~ 10:00-11:00 a.m.

Contemporary/Praise and Worship Service ~ 11:00 a.m.

A sermon series that looks at the questions John Wesley recommended we ask ourselves daily.

April 26 ~ Relationship with God

  • We'll look at who Jesus is; enjoying prayer; and do I do what I know I should do.

May 3 ~ Relationship with God

  • We'll look at the Bible living in us; how we disobey God; and praying about the money we spend.

May 10 ~ Relationship with God and Self

  • We'll look at letting the Bible speak to us daily; how proud am I; and in what ways am I defeated in life.

May 17 ~ Relationship with Self

  • We'll look at when we go to bed and wake up; how often do we complain; and being a slave to dress, friends, work, etc.

May 24 ~ Relationship with Self and Others

  • We'll look at how we spend spare time; am I self-conscious, self-pitying or self-justifying; and do I thank God I'm not like others.

May 31 ~ Relationship with Others

  • We'll look at being better than others and being a hypocrite; share confidential info with others; and being jealous, impure critical, irritable, touchy or distrustful.

June 7 ~ Relationship with Others

  • We'll look at being honest or exaggerating; anyone I have hard feelings about; and when is the last time I spoke about my faith with someone.  This will be Pastor Gary's last week with us.
